WHAT IS REINFORCEMENT STEEL TESTING?

Reinforcement steel testing is the process of conducting destructive tensile, yield, and elongation tests to determine Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio, yield strength, and strain-hardening characteristics of post tension cables. Reinforcement steel testing is done by trained professionals in a controlled environment, with highly specialized and calibrated mechanical equipment and computer systems.
