Ground Penetrating Radar Icon

Ground Penetrating Radar is used to clear areas prior to saw cutting or core drilling.  We can determine key slab information for Structural Engineers, including rebar and post-tension spacing and depth, concrete cover and overlay thickness, concrete thickness, and even dowel placement. Our Ground Penetrating Radar is capable of scanning complete concrete structures, we are not limited by size for structural analysis.

Post Tension Cable Testing
We perform Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Tensile Testing. This testing standard determines the in-plane tensile properties of polymer matrix composite materials reinforced by high-modulus fibers. ASTM D3039 tensile testing is used to measure the force required to break a polymer composite specimen and the extent to which the specimen stretches or elongates to that breaking point.

Concrete Scanning Icon

Concrete Scanning can reveal conduits, rebar and post tension cables hidden in concrete slabs, walls and structures. Let us scan your concrete project before you core drill or saw cut. Our experienced concrete scanning technicians will ensure you avoid a costly and dangerous line strike, keep your project and team safe, on track and on budget.

CONCRETE SCANNING USING GROUND PENETRATING RADAR

We use Ground Penetrating Radar or (GPR) to  to scan and clear concrete areas prior to saw cutting or core drilling. And unlike other companies, we can conduct the scanning and complete the core drilling. In addition, our scanning equipment also provides the detail that project managers and Structural Engineers want to see. Our Ground Penetrating Radar shows key concrete slab detail including rebar and post-tension spacing and depth, concrete cover and overlay thickness, concrete thickness, and even dowel placement. With our GPR system, we are able to scan entire concrete structures, without being limited by size for structural analysis.

CONCRETE TESTING

Specialized Testing provides compressive strength tests of concrete: beams, cylinders, cores, grout, mortar, and prisms according to the following standards:
Compressive strength is measured by breaking concrete specimens in a compression-testing machine. Compressive strength is calculated from the failure load divided by the cross-sectional area resisting the load and reported in units of pound-force per square inch (psi).
